1) The Digital Incubation Program IdeaCamp:
The Digital Incubation Program IdeaCamp - organized by the Ministry of Transport and Communication’s Digital Incubation Center - focuses on supporting for entrepreneurs, developers and designers who are interested in developing a tech based idea into a viable business. The camp is 5 weeks long consisting of multiple workshops - usually held on weekends - focused on business modeling, marketing, prototyping, pitching and more. The ideaCamp focuses on supporting entrepreneurs in the areas of IOT, Artificial Intelligence and Analytics with a priority to Fintech, Smart Cities and Logistics.

2) QBIC’s Business Incubation and Acceleration (BIA) Hackathon:
The Hackathon - organized by Qatar Business Incubation Center - is a weekend long competition that focuses on supporting entrepreneurs in the early stages develop their business. Buckle up! This Hackathon is an intense fast paced three days packed with learning, networking and incredible line-up of mentors. The three days consists of stimulating workshops, working sessions, and the chance to pitch to a group of esteemed judges. It is truly a transformative experience that can propel early stage entrepreneurs into the next chapter of their journey.
Application Timeline: Based on 2023, Applications open in May
Prize: Funding (amount varies per year) and a pathway into the Lean Startup Program and incubation Program - as well as other opportunities such as attending conferences and chances to earn additional funding
3) Qatar Business Incubation Center’s Lean Start-up Program:
The Lean Start-up program is an 11-week journey that provides real-world, hands-on learning experiences on how to startup a company. The program is designed to support early-sttage entreperhips in achieving Problem- Soultion fit and gathering valuable customer feedback. Through this program, you will have the chance to learn essential skills usch as customer discovery, prototyping, and pitching. The program's dynamic structure covers business modeling, validation sprints, and key topics like legal considerations and funding.
Application Timeline: Next wave is 24 September 2024
Prize: The chance to gain up to QAR 250,000 Investment and entry into a 1-year incubation program.

4) Al Fikra National Entrepreneurship Competition:
Al Fikra 2023 is a national entrepreneurship competition aims to support start-ups consisting of member from higher education institutes - this includes students - in developing their ideas and building their entrepreneurship skills. The competition is specifically for entrepreneur that are in the idea stage or early stage of their business - no registered or incubated businesses. There are two tracks within the competition: The Junior Track where the leading team member is an undergraduate student and Senior Idea Track with the leading team member is a faculty, researcher, graduate or staff member.
Application Timeline: Applications open in July
Prize: The top three winners from each idea track will be provided funding and will be incubated

Qatar Science and Technology’s Park XLR8 Program:
Although applications have closed, QSTP’s XLR8 is an intensive 10-week program that could transform your tech-based ideas into commercially viable businesses. The program typically involves in-person sessions twice a week with a mixture of workshops, lectures and intensive mentorship. The program covers a range of topics including prototyping, pitching, marketing and much more. Since this program is over a longer period of time, intensive support is provided to participants in refining their ideas and pitching.
Application Timeline: The application timeline tends to be in December (specific dates are usually posted on their social media accounts and websites).
Prize: Winners tend to receive monetary support and a pathway to QSTP’s incubation program.
